Does anyone know why when I'm in Desqview, and I open a window, a program like DOS-EDIT that is resident and working before DV was loaded is no longer active in any DV windows (DOS windows), but if I completely exit DV, it's still there, ready to come out of hibernation? Yes, Desqview takes over the interrupts which DOS-EDIT uses uses to do its thing. Your best bet is probably to use what features Desqview has to do what you are used to have DOS-EDIT do, or perhaps load DOS-EDIT in each window. > Alexander Morris "People die, things change... > Carnegie Mellon It's sad." -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ a_rubin@dsg4.dse.beckman.com <<ignore From: address My opinions are my own, and do not represent those of my employer.
