i'm currently using an IBM PS/2 55SX with a new ZOOM modem with v.42bis to access a SUN server at school with ProComm 1.1B emulating a VT102 terminal. however, whenever i use something slightly graphical in nature iget problems. right now i can't use emacs or the talk daemon in UNIX 4.3 BSD effectively because when i make changes (or sometimes) just write, the screen on my IBM doesn't get refreshed properly. so if this message looks strange, it's because i don't get an accurate portrayal on my screen of what this actually looks like.

I have the same problem: Procomm's VT100 emulation isn't QUITE right. Try another term program--but I haven't found one that works right yet. They all do somethings differently. -- +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ ! Adam Goldberg ! "It's simple! We are also using TERM at work and the emulation is also exact. I don't have their address or phone at hand.
