One problem that I have encountered is interference from older cordless phones on the ham bands. There are some that do operate in the 160 meter band, although they are in the minority. last week I heard two cordless phones in the 30 meter band! Turns out that it was the 6th harmonic and both were S-9 signals. I don't know what can be done about this situation. I am sure that people would not willingly junk their phone just because it interferes with a ham. Has anyone else had experience with this type of interference or know what the FCC's reaction is? In the last few cases of interference to the amateur service I have had (caused by commercial transmitters) the FCC wanted us to solve the problem. Bob K9EUI
