[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] ENSEMBLE

The previous Poster didn't mention that America Online uses a
GeosWorks front end. I recently had the opportunity to test this
service and recieved a communications package from them that uses this
environment. If the full package is as well implemented, people with
slower machines (like my 286) will be able to extend the useful life
of their machines for several years (if the software developers decide
to write for it).

Does anyone remember where Geos got its start?

Kind of spooky...

But I'm all for it...it'll keep the big M from getting too complacent with
their current over-priced and under-stomached OS attempts!
