I need to find documentation of the LINK .LIB file format. The frequently
asked questions list gave me a good reference for the .OBJ format (MS-DOS
Encyclopedia), but that doesn't give any description of the .LIB format.
I have an old ('81) Intel object format document which gives _some_
library format, but it doesn't correspond in any way to the format of the
files that LIB produces. The format seems fairly straightforward, but the
hashing algorithm for public symbols is unclear to me.
If anyone has any pointers to books or articles that might help me out
