Well, Adobe was the featured speaker at the Wednesday, April 17th
meeting of the "Sacramento PC Users Group".
I took this opportunity to ask the VP of Marketing (who was
present) about the differences between the ATM sold in the stores
and the ATM that is packages with Aldus Pagemaker. Basically, in
order to offer ATM at a great price for Aldus to package with
Pagemaker, they had to drop the fonts that involved royalties (like
Times Roman). Owners of the "Pagemaker" ATM will soon be getting a
mailer that will offer the missing fonts at a price.
Well, that's what I heard from a reliable source.
