I have a Gateway2000 25MHz 386 with 16MB ARM and two 300MB disks. I'm currently running UNIX SVR3.2 on it. My set up runs perfectly. However, someone else in my location has a similar set up, but with ONE 600MB disk. His set up randomly hangs. Does anyone have any experiences with UNIX on a Gateway2000 with greater-than-600MB disks? BTW, Gateway tells me they have run MSDOS with >600MB disks with no problem, but they do not have experience with UNIX. I'm not sure whether SCSI or ESDI has anything to do with this.
