I notice that there is a new driver for the Trident 8900 that provides a larger font when running windows at 1024x768. Does such a driver exists for controllers using the Tseng 4000 chip? -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ken Roser - WA2VCI - mtgzy!ker - AT&T Bell Laboratories - 908-957-5822 ----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Diamond SpeedSTAR board uses the ET4000 chip set, and comes with Windows 3.0 fonts so text remains 16-point (approx.) in 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 modes (16 or 256 colors); icons get a little smaller as resolution increases (they remain 32x32). I have not attempted to fiddle with the fonts to make them any larger (they are large enough for me). This is an EXCELLENT SVGA board, and they have a BBS which gives great support.
