FASTEST direct access SVGA card ????? In the MAY issue of "Computer Shopper" page 159 the author of the article states someting like the Diamond SpeedSTAR SVGA card is the fastest SVGA he has ever seen... Well being a natural born skeptic I need a broader base of opinions before I purchase one. This author claims to be running his SpeedSTAR with Win 3.0 in the 1024x768x256 colors mode implying that it is plenty fast. Is it also fast in all the other modes ? Does an one own the "Plus" version of the Diamond SpeedSTAR ? Any compatiblity problems ? Is there a good selection of drivers and utilities ? Any articles reviewing any of the SpeedStar boards ? Obviously Diamond is one of the major Graphics card manufactures, they only had three distributors in the MAY issue of Computer Shopper. Any response is greatly appreciated !!!!!! Peter J.
