I am looking for a network newsreader (nntp client software) for both Mac and
IBM micros. It need not be the same package for the Mac as the IBM (although
it would be nice). I am familiar with the hypercard version for the Mac
floating around the net but the package is not sufficent for our needs.
It would be nice to find a public domain version or shareware version if
possible but if you know of other packages, please forward any information.
There will be a combination of 170 Mac's & IBM's using these packages so if
you have any information on any license requirements or site licensing, I
would be appreciate it if you could send that on as well.
Someone mentioned Mews from MIT, TheNews and NewsView for the Mac. I don't
know anything about these packages so if you have any info or experience
with them, please forward that as well. Are these public domain or shareware?
