I have been having weird problems with my SupersPORT 286. It lockups for not reason at all. Here's the senario. It all seemed to have happened after I installed Borland C++ on it, although I can't believe that this is the problem. The first thing that I noticed was that BCC would lockup when compiling the sample programs that came with it, then I noticed that I was getting file creation errors, every once and a while. I though may be there was a virus, or my hard disk was corrupt, so I formated my disk. After that I could not even install Borland C++ on my machine anymore. By the way the machine passes the built in diagnositics. Next I ran prep on the disk, and reformated it. After that I was able to install Borland C++ again, but I got the same lockup problems. The machine will lockup when I: Use Borland C++ Use PKZIP 1.01 Try downloading with DSZ (Zmodem). Does anybody know what the problem could be. If I take it to a shop, all they are going to do is replace the main board, which I can't afford. Somebody please Help! -- ---- Byron F.
