I've recently aquired a couple of GIF format piccies which I'd like to use to form a backdrop in Windows 3. Does anyone know of a program capable of translating GIF to BMP? Any help grately appreciated. Rik

There is a program called VPIC that I got off Compuserve. It converts GIF files to PCX files. Windows Paint can read in PCX files and store them as BMP files. Since VPIC is shareware, copies probably exist somewhere on the net. VPIC is not the only program available. It's just the one I used.
