[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Help with Wyse 60 terminals, please...

herrj@valnet.UUCP (Jonathan R. Herr) (05/12/91)

I work at a small company that runs AT&T Unix SysV R3.2 on a AT&T
386/20. We just recently purchased three Wyse 60 terminals of which
two have standard ascii keyboards and one with a 101 extended. My
problem, I think, resides with the terminals but may be with the OS.
Actually, it's that I received no manuals with them and the seller is
going to take a few days to get them to me.

These keyboards have function keys that are necessary for the users
to run certain software. But, only some of them work under the VT100
mode set on the terminal and set within Unix. Is there something
special that I must do to get the rest of these to work? Right now,
only the F1 - F4 keys work. I'm only using the VT100 mode because I
can't get the WY 60 or any other mode to work.

The terminals are installed using a AT&T IPC 8-port board. I currently
have two AT&T 605 terminals installed and fully functional.

My suspicions are that I either need to change the software drivers
or I'm missing something in the set up of the terminal.

Any help would be appreciated greatly!
