Got Marius FY7YE (French Guiana) at 0240Z 7th OCT 14.050Mhz. His code is VERY fast but I think he said he would be back the following night at same place so listen for him at about 0215Z.

I'd be happy to contribute whatever I can to a "dx net". I get on infrequently but sometimes work some choice stuff. 73 de N8AAT

DL0MAR/9G showed up on 40 meters yesterday, around 7004.1, at around 2300Z. He was running JAs, listening up about 1 KHz. He then started to listen up 5 KHz, and was working into all continents. I got him at 2300Z. After about 10 minutes he went to 80 meters, around 3504.1, listening up 1 to 2 KHz, working Europe and North America. The op was Baldur, DJ6SI (I don't know why he's using a club callsign). QSL is to DJ6SI direct. He is usually pretty good about getting the proper permission (his 5X5BD operation counts) so this one is likely to be good. In any case, WFWL (Work first, worry later). The other interesting thing on 40 meters has been FT8XB, around 7011, at 0230Z or so. He sends slow (sounds like a straight key) and you have to crank your keyer down to work him. Please rest assured that my dx contacts are of only the highestt quality. My Italian contact in Mongolia and I had a long con- versation regarding the practice of the solitary vice by the mountain tribesmen. Glad the band was in such good condition. I'll admit to not being QRP, but my Alpha amp *is* manufactured here in the good ole USA, just like my triband beam antenna. Ciao de N8AAT
