[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Borland to develop C++ for OS/2 2.0

wayne@csri.toronto.edu (Wayne Hayes) (05/17/91)

It was just announced officially that IBM and Borland have entered an
agreement for Borland to develop their Borland C++ compiler for OS/2 2.0.
This is *only* for OS/2 2.0, the 32-bit OS/2, *not* OS/2 1.x.  It was
just posted internally at IBM today and looks like it's public knowledge.
(I hope so, or I could be in deep doggy doodoo. :-) I *was* going to
save the message and post it here, but forgot to bring my "SneakerNet(tm)"
disk home with me. Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. (Or one of the
internal IBM people who read this could post it; you know who you
are. :-) (It was in OS2V2SDK FORUM around line 10400, or near the end.)
