[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Graphics on SVGA - thanks

nbeck@weber.ucsd.edu (Nathaniel Beck) (05/29/91)

Thanks to all who posted or emailed in response to my query about
SVGA graphics programs.

FRACTINT won hands down. And it is great. The latest version I could
find is FRAIN151 (on the mirrors archive at Washington U St. Louis).
It is a fabulous program. It works very nicely witht the Tseng 4K
chipset.

The consensus was also that animation games don't and won't exist
for SVGA mode. So I guess I lost a good excuse to go out and buy a
game.
