I am posting this for some friends of another company. They have the complete support of their company for making purchase decisions. Problem: They have a program [for OS/2 1.1, of the PS/2], which modulates the speaker output to sound like a wailing siren. The problem is that the speaker output is too low to be heard outside of the room. Thus, they are searching for some kind of amplifier which they can plug into their PS/2. Intermediate solution: We found a kit dealer in Milano who sells, "Nuova Elettronica LX310", assembly and soldering required. They need a number of these, and would prefer to have something already made, to reduce their installation time. Question: Does anyone know of a circuit board, or external amplifier for the speaker, which would be quicker to install (and change)? These people would like to purchase a number of these immediately. I know nothing about the PS/2, or OS/2, but can act as a message relay. Please send replies directly to my e-mail address. I shall be away from 7 June to 9 July, so I will be unable to respond to e-mail a fortnight or so old until July. -Joe Giampapa garof@sixcom.sixcom.it garof%sixcom.sixcom.it@uunet.uu.net
