Is it possible to copy an immovable file onto floppy, de-install the immovable file and then re-copy the file into the same place from the floppy? The problem is that we have a 286-AT with some PCB Design software installed. The machine is quite old and every so often it comes up with a disk failure error. The software is protected on hard disk by storing the physical location of a certain file actually in the file itself. This ensures that the file cannot be easily copied. We would like to back-up this piece of software in some way. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance Kev kap@eng.cam.ac.uk
