I am seeking information about the external port on the HP Laserjet II/III. This is the one used by Tall Tree for their JLaser card. I work for a company that does presentation graphics system, and used this port on the Laserjet II somehow, figuring it out without documentation. It doesn't work the same for the III, and I would like to get any information I can to help get it working. Mainly I need info on the III, or differences between the II and III in their use of the port. I've been told that the port is not supported by HP, so there's no documentation available. I realize that this is the price you pay for writing to specific hardware, but speed was the prime consideration, and it is much faster than using BIOS.
