I have a quick question about dos and/or heap extenders. I've been looking at some literature from Ergo computing about their products, although my question has to do with all such products. Are these things pretty transparent/easy to use. Are there going to be lots of hidden little adjustments to make in my code? I'm working on a 386 pc clone with about 1 meg of RAM. We're using the microsoft 5.1 compiler and Vermont Views windowing software. Basically, I'm trying to find out if these products are as good as they sound, or if there are some hidden costs (time/effort wise) associated with them.
