Well I am in the market for a 486 PC Clone Computer. I would like the
following features:
8 MB RAM
some cache RAM
ISA Architeture
200 MB Hard Drive
Super VGA
33 MHz speed
1.44/1.2 Floppies
and all the other normal things like serial ports and parallel ports.
I would like to be able to add a modem, a midi card, and a removable
disk such as the SyQuest Drive.
Needless to say I am overwhelmed by the choices on the market. I would
like to get a good price and good quality. If anyone has any first hand
experience with a 486 clone, I would appreciate some advice. I am looking
at the Gateway 2000-486. Please email any warnings or satisfied
customer suggestions. Thanks,
Karen
