Hi: I've run into a strange problem with AMI Pro running under windows 3.0. Once in a while, usually while I am editing/creating or printing a file with graphics, I get a "System Error - Sharing Violation of Drive C:" with the offer to either "repeat" or "cancel". Selecting either causes the system to hang or completely terminates windows and I'm back in DOS. I've tried turning off the print manager but that does not work. Not loading SHARE.EXE (by renaming it) seems to work but DOS complains during boot that since I have a drive greater than 32 Meg, I should load SHARE.EXE. Two questions: 1) Has anyone encountered this problem and can suggest a possible solution? 2) How do I determine if I need share.exe or not? My machine is a 386/25MHz (Northgate) with 64K cache, 4M mem, 80M disk. I have both windows and non-windows applications running. Thanks for all help. Najmi Jarwala jarwala@ohm.att.com
