I post this about every two months hoping someone from HP will see it and come to my aid. Still no luck, so here it is again. When I turn on my Vectra QS/20 ('386, A: = 1.2flop, B: = 1.44flop, C: = 32MB DOS partition, D: = 9 MB partition) it gives me an error code 9303, which someone once told me was a problem with disk drives. Running SETUP helps none, as all the settings are correct. (I told it there was no D drive, as there is really only one hard disk...is this right?) Any ideas? Thanks, Mike |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The probability that you are being watched is directly | Mike Stangel | | proportional to the stupidity of your actions. | m-stangel@ | | | uiuc.edu | `~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~'

Thanks, I was the one who said this was a disk error message. The 9xxx are FLOPPY not hard disk errors. It's time to spend the money to have a repair shop look at the system. You got a hardware problem. It can be as simple as a loose cable or as bad as a bad motherboard. It's time to have someone with hardware expertise take a hands on look at the system.
