Hello! I was wondering if there is a utility or a method to controlling a (graphics-heavy) program via a script. The program is called Trim-90, and what I do is copy the appropriate config file, start the program, hit "o", "o", "n", wait a half hour or so, then hit "space","t","d","space","q","y","d". At this point, the program exits, I archive the files it made, then I copy the next config file over and start the program again. I am trying to figure out a way to run the damn thing without me needing to pop by every 1/2 to enter a set of identical keystrokes. However, I do not know how to have a script file enter the keystrokes within the program. Any help, advice, pointers to utilities, suggestions of C code would be appreciated. The program itself runs only on an ibm-type with math coprocessor and VGA card, we use 386 machines for it. Thanks! sandy antunes@astrod.astro.psu.edu
