I just talked to a friend of mine who works at Egghead, and he said that the upgrade packages actually cost them more than what they were selling them for. Also, Egghead does not sell their mailing list to anyone, and neither do they buy anyone elses lists. They depend solely on volunteer customer forms and these "Instant Rebate" forms. BTW, Egghead bought Microsoft's first million copies, and they are almost all gone. -- Chuck Rickard (chuck@umbc5.umbc.edu)
