In a recent DAK catalog, they offer a complete BSR 386SX/16 computer system for $1399. This system includes: 1 MB Ram, 40 MB Hard Disk, 1.2 MB 5 1/4" Drive, 1.44 MB 3 1/2" Drive, 14" VGA Color Monitor, 16-bit VGA card with 256K RAM, 1 parallel port, 2 serial ports,1 mouse port, MS DOS 3.31, GW Basic, and 1 year On-Site Warranty. This seems like a great price for such a powerful system, but I have never heard of BSR and I am wondering about their quality/reliability. I don't want to purchase a lemon. Does anybody out there know anything about BSR in general, and has anybody actually purchased this system from DAK? If so, I would appreciate any experiences that you can share. Is this a good deal, or would I be better off paying more for a name brand system? All inputs are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
