Andy, a different solution: 1. Get all of the sites you know to update their UUCP connections for the nmail/mkpath programs. 2. USE these programs, and, if you're worried about harpo (and harpo has NOT been reliable) compile your database without harpo connections included. Then recompile your database WITH harpo connections. 3. Torque the nmail program (I will gladly send you the torqued source if you don't want to do it yourself) so that it attempts to open the 2nd argument as a database file. Then.... if people want they can access harpo, or if they don't, by default they won't. This is a great way to force your mail to avoid machines you are scared of. 4. Go back to step 1 and repeat until nmail and mkpath are what they
