[comp.os.msdos.apps] LPT1 >> File.txt

I am looking for a program that would take the data directed at LPT 1 and save
it to a file. I know of things that direct it to other places such as mode and
netware's capture. I would like it in a text file that could be incorperated
into another program or just printed later from the Command prompt.

thanks
Edgar

The 2 that come immediately to mind are LPTX and PRN2FILE. LPTX is on
SIMTEL, and PRN2FILE is a PC Magazine utility.

You can do this with CAPTURE. The CREATE= switch allows you to send the output
to a file instead of a print queue.

I've also used LPTX which someone else mentioned is available from SIMTEL.
