[comp.os.msdos.apps] WordPerfect Problems

We have a PC-XT compatible running WordPerfect 5.1.  We are suddenly
getting strange characters on the screen.  For example, after a
document is printed, the number 7 appears in the upper-lefthanf corner
of the screen.  Also, the keyboard freezes up sometimes.  

I thought it might be a hardware problem.  So, I switched computers.
However, the problem is still occuring.  

Has anyone else experienced this odd behaviour?
