[comp.os.msdos.apps] 4DOS and extended memory, XMS

keirje@triton.unm.edu (Keirje Aldranske) (10/06/90)

I have been using 4DOS dor some time and think it is terrific. One problem,
however, is that while using the himem.sys(XMS) driver, 4DOS takes over all
extended memory... Is it making UMB's? Is there a parameter on 4DOS which
will allow me to limit the amount of extended memory it will use? The
documentation does not cover this (as far as I could tell) Any help will
be appreciated.

If you are a registered user, (and you should be) just ask J P Software.
They will give you the straight scoop unembelished with suppositions and
