I need code to generate music out the PC speaker for a program I'm writing. If possible, I'd like to have polyphonic (three voice) sound. I need object modules linkable to TC2.0 programs at the very least, and I wouldn't mind having source code. (But I don't have TASM, which is a small problem.) I'll eventually want to set the music up to be interrupted by a keystroke. Since I'm not much of an assembly hacker, I probably won't be able to add that ability to some random opaque hunk of code. I'm aware of PMUSIC, a shareware package from "Edward Grigassy" (aka "GrigaSoft Productions") which fits most of my criteria. There's no date on the version of PMUSIC I have. Is Grigassy still at 2304A Riverside Farms Rd., Austin TX? Does anyone have any experience with registering PMUSIC? If you know of any other polyphonic music packages I'd appreciate hearing about them. I'm interested in keeping costs down, so I'm primarily interested in public domain or shareware implementations. Please e-mail me, as I may not get a chance to scan these groups for follow-ups. -- Scott Turner srt@aerospace.aero.org srt@cs.ucla.edu
