In light of all of the discussion about hiding files, there is one point that should be mentioned -- these schemes work in DOS. In Windows, LeMenu, and other menuing systems and the like, you can change directories by highlighting, point-and-clicking, et cetera. One scheme that I don't think that has be suggested is creating a hard disk partition. There are a lot of people that use my computer. I have created a partition for a 'data' disk. This makes it easier whem backing up data. Plus most people do not think to look for partitions. Another idea would be to compress the game files with PK-arc or PK-zip which have password options. Use and dummy name when creating the archive. Joseph.
