I don't know how smart he is but he was definitely timely. If you notice on almost all the books Norton 'writes' it is in association with someone else. The other guy probably writes the book, but they use Norton's name to sell it. Which book would you rather buy, the one by Norton or the one by Anaffin Slobopowitz? BTW, he sold his company a while back. I don't believe he is still connected with the Norton Utilities - someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Thomas Dwyer III tomiii@mtu.edu

Say, does anyone out there know Peter Norton's email >address? > I have Norton Utilities 4.5 but have not upgraded to the new version because a) I'm happy with what 4.5 does; b) none of the new things are things I really need; and c) they have combined some functions that I'm not sure I like combined. However, the point is that Norton was bought out by another company a while back, if my memory serves correctly (Symantec???). Does anyone know what effect this will have on Norton's autonomy? Is he still involved with the software with his name or has the new company taken it over?
