Hello, I am looking for some advice on a nutritional analysis program. What I am looking for is something where daily intake can be entered (in convenient units) and an analysis (calories/carb-prot-fat/sodium/etc.) can be done. It would also be neat if this could graph various variables over time. An important feature I am looking for is a database of food items that I can enter new items into: ie I want to be able to create the item "veggie-lasagne" and build it's nutrition information from the raw ingredients (which should already be in the data-base). I've seen several programs on the local software-shop shelves but really have no experience with any of them and thought I'd turn to the net for advice. What experiences do any of you have with these programs? Is there anything public domain that will do the job? Should I just go ahead and start from scratch with my C compiler? How about any programs that will run as a windows 3.0 application? Please respond via email- and I'll give a summary (provided I get a few resposes that is) Thanks much- Ryan Border.
