I'm not a heavy Kermit user, but the following config has caused me no
problems (default fields and junk deleted):
[I've not used the tek emulation - hence the graphics=N below]

			       Change a Program

 Program...: e:\unipalm\kermit\kermit.exe

 Parameters:

		  Virtualize text/graphics (Y,N,T).....: [Y]
		  Uses serial ports (Y,N,1,2)..........: [1]

		      Change a Program Advanced Options
(various default lines omitted)

 Close on exit (Y,N,blank)......: [Y]  Uses its own colors..............: [Y]
 Allow Close Window command.....: [N]  Runs in background (Y,N,blank)...: [Y]
