Can anyone tell me the provedure for loading a 256 color gif into a BMP file that can be used in WINDOWS? I was told it is possible but so far, I have not discovered how to do it? George

Wingif.exe loads and saves .gif, .bmp, and .rle files interchangably (256 color gifs included).

cica.cica has Wingif V0.9. The site address is 129.79.20.22. Look in the pub/pc/win3 directory. I'm not sure which directory under that it is in. Also, Wingif v0.9 converts 256 color gifs to 256 color bmps.
