csw72@seq1.keele.ac.uk (D.J. Hulewicz) (03/14/91)
I am trying to load VSHIELD75 into high memory using QEMM 5.1 LOADHI on a
386SX with 2MB RAM.
Although the resident part only takes up 38K, LOADHI refuses to load the
program into high memory.
loadhi /gs vshield.exe gives 534K run-time bytes & 38K resident,
loadhi /gs vshield.exe /nomem /nb gives 123K run-time bytes and 38K resident.
I have 85K free in high memory.
If anyone knows of a way to only load high the resident part I would be very
interested to hear about it.
Thanks in advance,
Dominic.
