Hello all. I just DL'ed Waffle and am having problems getting it
to work.
So far I have it set up in the default directories and set up two
users. We can send mail to each other and can queue mail to the Internet
. It will dial to my schools computer(ULTRIX) but times out after
completing the logon sequence.
My quesions: What do I have to do to get it to send my mail and
Usenet news to my PC? What do I have to do on the Unix end? The PC end?
How do I send mail(or route mail) to other users on the DNS from my
PC? Who do I talk to? Etc?
ANY help will be appreciated. Thanks
Brian Pedranti

I know there's a lot there, particularly if you didn't print them, but many of your questions are answered there, including setting up a domain or uucp name. If you have 'grep' or some other program to search for strings in DOS files, try running that in the WAFFLE/DOC directory to find things. Second, the system admin at your site has to configure you as a UUCP node and establish newsfeed (and perhaps mail) batching for you. Third, if your site gets alt.bbs.waffle, look there for help.
