I recently purchased J.K Lasser's Your Income Tax 1991 and while it is a good program, there are some problems. First I cannot print out the forms -- at all. It won't even print to disk! I have a real IBM PC XT with a Epson MX-80 with GrafTrax+, one of their "supported" printers (actually the printer support is really awful in this program). Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? All printing results in "disk full" error messages...when the program is running in an otherwise empty 32 MB disk partition, so it's not out of disk. The "disk full" message comes from either printing to the printer or the disk. I faxed questions to the number they provided but haven't heard anything back in over a week. They also provide a 900 number for tech support, but my employer locks out calling 900 numbers...you can't even charge them to your home phone number. A pretty stupid way to support a program. All in all, I heartily recommend getting some other program. thanks in advance, dan davison davison@uh.edu -- dr. dan davison/dept. of biochemical and biophysical sciences/univ. of Houston/4800 Calhoun/Houston,TX 77054-5500/davison@uh.edu/DAVISON@UHOU Disclaimer: As always, I speak only for myself, and, usually, only to myself.
