We are having a problem with Compton's Multimedia Encyclopedia, a CD-ROM based application. The system we are using is an IBM PS/2 Mdl 30 with 640K. The program requires all 640K to operate properly. As we are using it, it runs... but with many quirks that make it unusable. It works fine on 286-based machines, so the problem seems to be with the amount of memory available. We would like to find a utility that allows disk space to be used as virtual extended memory to allow us to free up the base memory this program needs to function properly. Does such a utility exist exist in the archives? Of course, we can put an extended memory board in the machine. Then, what I need to ask is if there are programs in the archives that will allow me to load my drivers into extended/expanded memory. If YOU have any experience getting this application to run on a Mdl 30, please let me know. This is a major problem for a small I.S.D.'s library. Thank you... Mark C. "Bro!" Lowe - KB5III
