[net.ham-radio] Baudot --> ASCII Software Wanted

larry@kitty.UUCP (Larry Lippman) (01/07/86)

I would like to monitor (receive-only) a Baudot data stream and
display the characters on a Radio Shack Model 100 for ease of portability.
It seems to me that the bar code wand input port to the Model 100 would be
an ideal way to get access to a data stream (through a suitable polar or
neutral to TTL converter circuit, which I would furnish).
Does anyone have any software to do this using the above or any other
input means for the Model 100? I have very little experience with the Model 100
other than to use it as a portable terminal, I don't have an assembler for it,
and I *detest* BASIC - so I am not inclined to write it myself.
	Thanks to any who respond.
