[comp.os.msdos.apps] Flowchart/systems analysis software wanted

ho@hoss.unl.edu (Tiny Bubbles...) (05/02/91)

A friend of mine wants a program that will do flowcharting and systems
analysis. Shareware or commercial is fine, but we're both college
students, so anything above, say, $200 is probably questionable.

What he envisions is what I would describe as a smart, special-purpose
draw program: He wants to be able to draw boxes and label them, like
a flowchart, and connect them together, like a flowchart. But he wants
to be able to control their positioning on the screen and the printout,
such that he can move a "box" and all of its connecting lines will move
with it on the screen. (It's the latter wish that keeps a normal
draw program from being the answer.)

Any suggestions? I doubt this is of general interest, so e-mail would be
preferred.
