I'm not usually a PC programmer and I don't read these newsgroups, so if this is the wrong group for this question, I'd appreciate a reference to where it should be posed. I've been asked to assist in writing a package that runs on a PC and drives some remote devices. It seems to me that Tcl would be ideal to provide the glue to compose complex sequences of commands -- the command sequences would not need to be wired-in to the program, but could be added later, as needed. So, does anyone have a version of Tcl that has been ported to a PC? Please respond to me directly. Tks, -- -- Greg Noel, Unix Guru greg@qualcomm.com or greg@noel.cts.com
