Does version 2.0 of ProComm Plus fix the problem with making backspaces under VT102 emulation unnecessarily destructive?

I have never had a problem with PC Plus 1.0, there is a set up parameter that can be changed. Press Alt-S and then check terminal options, general options, and its selection H there.
