I am looking for a version of LaTeX which would run on an IBM PC or compatible. I know a large number of files that would comprise the package are available for anonymous ftp somewhere. I would, however, appreciate a response from someone who has already put these files together into a running package for their PC and would like to share the information. Thanks much, Jaffar

Here's the U.S. FTP sites for emTeX (TeX, LaTeX, etc. for PCs) that I know about. I haven't yet snarfed it for myself, however. labrea.stanford.edu:/pub/emtex pc.usl.edu:/pub/tex/msdos/emtex procyon.cis.ksu.edu:/pub/PC/TeX/emtex Have fun... -- Michael J. The official US distribution (as told in the EmTeX documentation) is what is now msdos.archive.umich.edu (it was terminator.cc.umich.edu). -------------------------------------------------------------- Lamborghini Diablo ===----> the latest and fastest....
