Yes indeed, one of the more interesting upgrades I've done..... Has anyone tried reading the B: drive immediately after booting the machine ? When I do, DOS seems to get rather confused - every floppy inserted after doing this has a directory exactly the same as the first one. Is this a feature, or a bug? What is the opinion of Microsfot experts ? What is the opinion of PC experts ? Who DID kill Laura Palmer ? Who really CARES ? Regards, A.D. (davison@bruce.cs.monash.edu.au)

I saw the same problem with my pc - only it was caused because I have Hyperdisk installed. Perhaps hyperdisk 4.21 and Dos 5.0 have a problem with sensing disc changes. The workaround was to press alt-F which either flushed the cache or told it to force a read of the disc regardless - it did the job, anyway. Doug.
