Main concerns with regards to the procedure: (1) Will Hidden/System/RO files copied and restored to the identical place as they were on the original disk? (2) Will the boot sector be included in this image copy? (3) What are the relevant OS/2 systems files Hidden/System that may cause problems? and are they location dependant.? Some background: The original Hard-disk would have OS/2 1.1 installed and DOS 4.00 and a dual-boot mechanism active, plus etc... The procedure for copying or restoring can accomplished in either DOS or OS/2 I don't care. The plan is to use an optical disk for holding the image copy. Booting from DOS 4.0 with Adaptec drivers and attempting using FastBack Plus did not prove successfull. ----------
