Does anyone know of a hard drive backup program which automatically compresses all files? I think most of the major ones do. I know that the one I use, which comes with PC Tools does. As I recall from my last backup the compress- ion was about 35%, which isn't bad when a fairly small percentage of the files are text. -- Joel Upchurch/Upchurch Computer Consulting/718 Galsworthy/Orlando, FL 32809 joel@peora.ccur.com {uiucuxc,hoptoad,petsd,ucf-cs}!peora!joel (407) 859-0982

I've been using Central Point Software PC-Tools backup program for well over
a year (versions 5.5 and 6.0). It works very well for me and is fast and
relatively cheap (the whole PC-Tools package sells for less than Fastback).

One more: the new Norton Backup program does compression, plus lots of other neat things. Bob M., PSU-Harrisburg
