[comp.os.msdos.misc] Looking for interrupt-driven serial i/o library.

I'm writing a program to control a communications receiver over a
serial port.  I'd like to have interrupt-driven i/o and would really
like to steal the code to do that.

I would appreciate recommendations for a simple package that comes in
source form (it doesn't have to be for a particular language)?  I
don't mind if the library carries a copyright that puts the entire
program into the public domain.
