A while back I found and baught a microwave diode??? of some type from a
used electronics store im Palo Alto Ca. and I was wondering if any one out
there can give some info on the type of diode it is and any other info on it.
it is a Microwace Associates MA4968. the test data that came with it is
C6 .429
Tl 10ns
Ts .09ns
Fc-6 400ghz
Vb 38v
the diode is in a package that is like a weding cake the bottom layer is
about .125 in in diameter and .010 thich gold plated. the next layer is glass
about .050 in dia and .050 tall. the top layer is .010 in dia and .050 tall.
the types of things that it could be used for would be appreacetd.
